SKZ Trading Cards

A portmanteau of "max" or "maximum" and "incident" or "accident", the EP saw the band take on a "love" concept for the first time. The album was written and produced primarily by 3RACHA, alongside the group's other members and producers Raphael, Daviid, Yosia, Tak, 1Take, Kim Park Chella, Hong Ji-sang, Earattack, Chan's, and Darm.
Music critics described the EP an "experimental" release that still retained Stray Kids' identity. Commercially, Maxident topped charts in South Korea, Poland, and the United States, and reached the top ten in Australia, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Hungary, Japan, Lithuania, New Zealand, Sweden, and Switzerland. The EP was certified as a triple-million seller by the KMCA, making it one of the best-selling albums in South Korea, and won the Album Bonsang at the 37th Golden Disc Awards, and the Album of the Year in the fourth quarter at the 12th Circle Chart Music Awards.
